It is well known that pain can be influenced by a number of contributing factors, and, especially in chronic cases, may not be driven purely by the pathology itself.  It may be driven by stress, lack of sleep, bad posture and the like.  Often what we do on a day to day basis, whether at work or at home, can influence our pain and often drive an ongoing problem or prevent a new problem from getting better.

Assessing and addressing daily ergonomics can assist with the treatment of your current problem or treat the issue.  

Most common work ergonomic faults observed on a day-to-day basis are:

  1. Chair position
  2. Sitting posture
  3. Desk arrangement
  4. Workstation position
  5. Screen position
  6. Appropriate breaks for physical activity
  7. Moving and handling errors
